The first step is the hardest, and the most important.

  1. Reach out

By phone, email or WhatsApp, whatever feels easiest. I work by appointment, so together we find a time that suits you.

  2. A first meeting

You don’t need to know exactly what to say, how to say it, or in what order. It’s enough that you come.

  3. Working together

I adapt the pace and the way we work to you. Some changes come quickly, deep, lasting ones take time and patience.

Common questions

In a therapy session you don't have to have an answer to every question. Sometimes we begin a session with exactly the feeling you're in, confusion, tiredness or frustration.

What if I've never been to therapy?

Most people feel uncertain and a little nervous before a first session. You don't need to know exactly what to say, how to say it, or in what order, nor whether you've said too much or too little. It's enough that you come.

What if I find it hard to talk?

That's completely fine too. I adapt the pace and the way we work to you. There's no rush, we go slowly and gently, in the way that suits you.

How quickly does therapy help?

Some changes can come quickly. But for deep and lasting change, be ready for ongoing work, growth takes time and patience.

What if I can’t make a session?

Let me know as early as you can, at least 24 hours before, and we’ll find a new time. Sessions cancelled later are charged, unless illness or something unforeseen gets in the way.
